A terror attack suspect who launched a deadly attack outside a Manchester synagogue did not appear in initial counter-terror record searches, police said.
The suspect - who was shot dead - was not believed to have been under investigation prior to Thursday morning's attack.
Two people were killed and four others seriously injured following the horror incident at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.

According to the Mirror , further checks were now being carried out to see if his details appeared elsewhere in records of other investigations.
Greater Manchester Police said the identity of the attacker was known but could not be confirmed due to "safety reasons
