Friday marks opening day of Junkstock weekend!

Junkstock has been bringing vintage and small shop finds to West Omaha since 2012.

If you visit this weekend or next, you will find these campers scattered across the land.

This year, they are strictly for admiring. But next year, they will be rentable.

"We're going to utilize these for Junkstock this year and then move them over by the Elkhorn River and feature them on Airbnb," Junkstock owner Jon Alexander said.

After they are rentable in 2026, Alexander says the campers will make the Junkstock experience more immersive.

"They'll be built inside of the tree area. People will be able to really feel like they're on the river instead of being on 228th and Dodge," Alexander said.
