The eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 70 were closed in Cooper County around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, according to a post on X from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F .

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a multiple-vehicle crash on I-70 at the 91 mile marker, west of Boonville, according to the post. At least one vehicle is on fire.

All lanes are currently blocked. Eastbound traffic is backed up to the 90 mile marker and westbound traffic is backed up to the 94 mile marker.
