A Soddy Daisy man is facing charges after police say he shoplifted from the Home Depot in Hixson multiple times.

The Chattanooga Police Department first learned of the suspect's shoplifting in August, when loss prevention called them to report Nicholas Bull, 40, taking power tools from the store, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.

Between August 7 and August 12, the store said he cut security ties to the Milwaukee power tool displays, took them, then left without paying for them.

Bull had taken five power tools, valued at $1,295.

Loss prevention called police later that month, stating that he was on camera using DeWalt cutters that he did not pay for to get access to a DeWalt precision wrench. Both items together cost $370.
