MINNEAPOLIS — Loved ones are remembering Housten Housley — a 39-year-old Minneapolis man who was found dead after a house fire last month.

"He was always trying to help people and the person responsible for this was one of them," said Pamela Lazor, Housley's mom.

Prosecutors are charging Andrew John Nietz, 41, of St. Paul with second-degree murder and first-degree arson.

According to officials, Minneapolis police officers were dispatched to reports of a fire on the 900 block of 22nd Avenue Northeast around 11 p.m. on September 24. Upon arrival, firefighters found the building engulfed in heavy flames.

Lazor, who owns the property, said she and her son lived on the first floor. Three tenants lived upstairs. Lazor recalled getting a call from a tenant who "was hysterical and said the hou
