HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A funeral was held Monday for a woman killed in a hit-and-run last month in Kalihi.

Family remembered Cynthia Bagoyo at Nu’uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.

The 58-year-old died Sept. 22, after a driver struck her in a cross walk on North School Street.

Her family had this message for Bagoyo’s killer.

The brother of Cynthia, Leo Bagoya said, “We’re asking that individual, why don’t you come forward and face the reality of what you’ve done?”

Cynthia’s sister, Wendy Tabucol said, “Help us to catch the guy, by doing this by sharing to the social media.”

“We want justice,” Tabucol added.

Honolulu Police Department is still searching for the driver.
