PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A small plane is upside down after a crash landing at Deer Valley Airport in north Phoenix on Friday.
The pilot was able to get himself out of the plane and was not seriously hurt. He was not taken to the hospital. No one else was on board.
Crews on scene said they did not know what caused the crash.
The investigation is being turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration, which is standard practice for crashes like this.
