Quarterback Jacoby Brissett is expected to make his first start for the Cardinals on a field he knows well.
Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback Kyler Murray is dealing with a foot injury and won’t be available against the Indianapolis Colts, and Brissett will take his place, per Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Murray missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was seen on the field on Friday at a limited capacity. He boasts a 68.3-per-cent completion percentage for 962 yards and six touchdowns, while leading the Cardinals in rushing yards through five games.
Brissett was traded to the Colts after his rookie season with New England and played there from 2017-2020.
