KINGSTON, N.Y. — Actor and Ulster County resident Mandy Patinkin was seen at the latest “No Kings” rally in Kingston on Saturday. He posted a video on Facebook in support of the effort.

The Emmy Award-winning actor is renowned for his performance in films, including “The Princess Bride” and “Yentl,” as well as in such television shows as “Chicago Hope,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Homeland.” In the short video , he spoke in support of the rally, which criticized the actions of President Donald Trump.

Patinkin owns a home in High Falls.

“No kings,” Patinkin said, speaking to the camera. “This is America, we don’t have kings in America.”

“We came here to get away from the Kings,” Patinkin said.
