POUGHKEEPSIE – A Town of Clinton man has been arrested for allegedly making threats to kill a member of Congress. State Police did not identify the member.

On Saturday, October 18, State Police were notified by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force that Christopher Moynihan, 34, had allegedly made threats to kill the member.

Moynihan was arrested and formally charged with the felony of making a terroristic threat.

He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $30,000 bond or $80,000 partially secured bond pending a future court appearance.
