Glasgow southside residents fear a popular park is “going to ruin” as shameful sectarian graffiti has been left up for two months.

Sectarian slurs have been plastered across the former Linn Park Golf Club clubhouse at Linn Park. The prominent building, close to the main car park, has previously been targeted by vandals who painted Nazi slogans, swastikas and racist messages on the derelict structure in 2021.

Locals told Glasgow Live that rival gangs of football hoods have been daubing hateful slogans on the building, adding that the situation “brings shame on Glasgow”.

They said that the graffiti has been reported to Glasgow Life and to local councillors, but that, after more than sixty days, the hateful messages remain visible.
