Songs of Praise presenter Pam Rhodes has disclosed she fell victim to a scam that left her £14,000 out of pocket.

The television host, who has fronted Songs of Praise for over three decades, revealed she was targeted in a "heartless and cruel way".

Pam detailed how she purchased an adapted bed and mattress for £14,000 in May, yet the furniture never materialised.

The 75-year-old stated she hasn't received her money back and has been ignored by the retailer despite attempts at contact.

She told The Sun: "Our furniture never arrived, and all enquiries got nowhere," reports the Mirror .
