Meriden police have arrested six people who are accused of stealing appliances and money worth more than $250,000 from Lowe's.
Loss prevention employees at Lowe's Home Improvement identified the operation and police launched an investigation in July 2024 into what they said was a large-scale internal theft scheme.

The thefts were mostly appliances at the Meriden Lowe's Outlet Store, according to Meriden Police.
Meriden Police Detective Femia, who is assigned to the United States Secret Service’s Connecticut Financial Crimes Task Force, collaborated with the business’ loss prevention team in the investigation.
