MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The fight over term limits for the Memphis-Shelby County school board has been reignited.
On Wednesday, Shelby County Commissioners will take up a vote to override a veto by County Mayor Lee Harris.
Late last month, the commission passed a resolution that would align the school board's terms, putting all nine on the ballot next year, alongside other county elections.

But two weeks later, Mayor Harris blocked the resolution.
Now, Commissioner Britney Thornton is bringing a resolution to override the mayor's veto.
"There's been so much scrutiny about what's happening at the school board and I think this is just responsive legislation," said Commissioner Thornton.
