CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Austin Peay State University said it will now be covering tuition for military spouses.
“Your support of the military community deserves recognition and support in return,” the university said on its website.
The university offers flexible programs, resources, and a community to help spouses achieve educational goals while managing the demands of military life.

The university, located in Clarksville, already helps more than 400 military students. A majority of those military students rely on the tuition assistance program, which goes through the Department of Defense.
However, that money has been delayed because of the government shutdown.
