QUINCY (WGEM) - Students in the Tri-States area will have a chance to go hands-on with nursing educators and experts Friday, Oct. 23.

The “Nursing and Health Sciences Visit Day” will take students on a tour of facilities at both Quincy University and the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Participants will visit classrooms, labs and the Blessing-Rieman Simulation Center, where students can encounter real-world medical scenarios through simulations and computerized mannequins.

According to Tom Oliver, Quincy University’s vice president of enrollment and senior director of student financial services, nursing is a needed and rewarding career path.
