An airline hostess has told how she had no idea she had been banned from driving in a 'secret' court.

Kayleigh Challinor, a flight attendant for EasyJet, had twice been caught speeding by traffic cameras but knew nothing of the offences as police notices were sent to her old address.

The mum-of-two, 37, was subsequently convicted in her absence of failing to provide documents.

She was banned from driving for six months under the Single Justice Procedure where cases are ruled on by a solo magistrate sitting behind closed doors. Challinor was also issued with fines totalling £1840.
