NEW YORK (PIX11) – New Yorkers who get SNAP benefits, be prepared not to get any money from the program in November.
The USDA released guidance on Friday, saying it won't use contingency funds to keep SNAP afloat if the government shutdown continues after Oct. 31. That move is expected to affect more than 40 million Americans who rely on food stamps.
