KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Kaukauna say no one was hurt after a garage fire caused $40,000 in damage Sunday night.

According to a release from the Kaukauna Fire Department, crews responded at 8:00 p.m. to a home on Armstrong Court after a neighbor reported that a detached garage was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were on the scene within five minutes and found a 2 1/2-stall garage with flames and smoke coming out of the front.

Officials say the fire was extinguished in under ten minutes and was contained to the garage with no damage being done to the house or any other neighboring structures. Total damages to the garage and its contents are estimated to be $40,000.

No one was hurt during the incident, and, at this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
