SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Thousands of runners will be flooding the streets and neighborhoods of Springfield this Sunday.
The Bass Pro Shops Conservation Marathon is upon Springfield once again, this year bringing together over 3,300 racers.
The races start Sunday, Nov. 2, at 7 a.m. in front of the Bass Pro entrance on Campbell Ave. and Sunshine St.
Racers are asked to watch for painted white fish along the route, which goes through several neighborhoods and downtown Springfield. To view the map of the race routes, click here.
The finish line is in front of the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, behind the Bass Pro Shops Store.
Bass Pro says registered entrants are from 356 cities, 31 states, and even racers from Switzerland. 70 marathoners are trying to qualify for the Boston
