POUGHKEEPSIE – Detectives traveled to Maryland Monday to take custody of 18-year-old Anthony Taylor, accused of shooting 22-year-old Gabriel Mosca to death in the city on October 3, 2025. Taylor, according to Detective Brad Sukeena, had fled to Maryland following the shooting.
Sukeena worked with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the US Marshal Service to locate Taylor. He was picked up by federal agents on October 16. Poughkeepsie detectives picked him up after Taylor’s extradition hearing in Maryland.
He was processed at Poughkeepsie police headquarters on Monday afternoon and transported to the Dutchess County Jail to await arraignment in Dutchess County Court on Tuesday.
