POSEY COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A deadly crash has lead to the closure of State Road 69 south of Interstate 64.

Dispatch confirms the call came in for the crash around 2:50 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The Indiana State Police and the Posey County Sheriff’s Office are at the scene around mile marker 33 to investigate the accident.

Authorities asked residents to avoid the area during the investigation.
