DERIDDER, La. (KPLC) - A man pleaded guilty in Beauregard court on Friday to the sexual assaults of two females .

Brandon Lee Roberts, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree rape and one count of third-degree rape.

Roberts began sexually abusing a teenage girl, beginning when she was around 13, Beauregard Sheriff Mark Herford said when Roberts was arrested in October 2024. He also sexually abused a young woman.

Roberts was indicted on three counts of third-degree rape, attempted first-degree rape, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and obstruction of justice, all those counts revolving around one victim. He was also indicted on one count of third-degree rape involving the other victim.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 4.
