FLAGSTAFF, AZ (AZFamily) — One of the hikers who survived being struck by lightning on Humphreys Peak in northern Arizona recalled getting rescued and his emotional reunion with his wife.
There is about a one in 15,000 chance of being struck by lightning in your lifetime, according to the National Weather Service.
Two men beat the odds last week when they were struck on Humphreys Peak outside of Flagstaff and survived.
