AUBURN, Ala. —
Two former Auburn University employees are suing the school, claiming wrongful termination over social media comments about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk .

Former landscape supervisor Kevin Courtwright has filed a federal lawsuit against Auburn's President Christopher Roberts and other administrators, alleging he was wrongfully terminated after posting opinions about Kirk's death on social media, which the university called insensitive.
Courtwright argues his posts were protected free speech under the First Amendment and is seeking reinstatement, damages, and a court order declaring his firing unconstitutional.
