HINSDALE COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - No, it's not déjà vu, but someone from the Southern U.S. got stuck on Engineer Pass.

On Monday, a Texas couple and their two dogs were stranded west of the summit of Engineer Pass, according to Hinsdale County Search and Rescue. Two search and rescue members left Lake City about 7:40 p.m. and drove to the top of the pass before going on foot because of deep snow drifts on the road.

The couple was safely located and guided to the search and rescue vehicle before heading back to Lake City.
