INDIANAPOLIS — The once-popular, long-troubled Washington Square Mall on the far east side of Indianapolis is now officially for sale, sources confirm.

City-County Councilor Michael-Paul Hart confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the mall property is for sale, although details are limited. The listing price is currently unclear.

However, what the councilor did confirm is that every piece of the property owned by Durga Property Holdings is now available for purchase.

"Everything is for sale," Hart said in an interview with FOX59/CBS4.

Once a popular destination for Hoosier shoppers, the mall property along E. Washington Street has more recently become a hotspot for crime and ruin.
