INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded Tuesday morning to a house fire on the near north side of Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched around 5:40 a.m. to the 2900 block of North Delaware Street. That's near 30th and Meridian Street south of Meridian Park.

Video and images from the scene showed intense fire and heavy smoke in the area. Multiple units and firefighters responded.
