TOWN OF SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (WETM) — A Southport man was arrested on Saturday on two warrants following a standoff in the town of Southport, according to a release from the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.

Hunter J. Stone, 27, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 25, on two separate warrants, with one out of New York and the other out of Pennsylvania, the release stated.

Stone's first notice was an active bench warrant for failure to appear in court on the charges of fleeing an officer in the third degree and obstructing government administration in the second degree, handed down by Southport Town Court on July 19, 2024, the release said.

Further, Stone's second notice was an active felony arrest warrant as a fugitive from justice out of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, the release explained. Deput
