The Nashville International Airport released new details Monday about plans for a second terminal at BNA in a video featuring CEO Doug Kreulen joined by country music artist Trace Adkins.

Terminal 2 will be developed in four phases and feature five concourses, according to the video.

Kreulen said officials will clear a site on the south side of the property and Terminal 2 will sit next to Terminal 1 on approximately 309 acres of the 4600-acre campus.

“This adjacent location allows us to plan entirely from the ground up without disrupting current traffic patterns or passenger flow while we add new garages and concourses,” Kreulen said in the video.
