The widow of a murdered police officer has called for every cop in Scotland to be given body worn cameras as a matter of urgency. ‌

Christine Fulton's husband Constable Lewis Fulton died in June,1994 after he was stabbed by schizophrenic teenager Philip McFadden in Glasgow's Gorbals shortly after starting his shift. ‌

Police Scotland is currently half way through a roll out programme of 10,500 body worn video cameras but Christine says that should have been completed a long time ago. ‌

In an exclusive interview with Criminal Record she called on the Scottish Government to provide the necessary funding to enable Police Scotland to speed up and complete the roll out..
