Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a couple were the victims of a "serious" assault in a town centre bar.

The incident happened at Reef Bar on Bridge Street at around 5.06am on Saturday September 27th. A 21-year-old man, and a 20-year-old woman were subjected to an attack which left them with serious facial injuries.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers believe that the man in the CCTV image may have vital information to aid their investigation. They are urging anyone who recognises him or thinks they may know who he is to get in touch.
