MAHOPAC – Putnam County’s 11 th annual veteran’s Chow Down treated some 350 veterans and their guests to a delicious meal and wonderful camaraderie at the Mahopac Golf Course Sunday.
The celebration highlighted the efforts provided by the PFC Joseph Dwyer Veterans Vet- 2Vet Program, which assists veterans by helping them to reduce or eliminate the negative impact that trauma-related symptoms have on social, occupational and family functioning in addition to Guardian Revival – a non-profit chartered to revive and preserve the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders at no cost to them.
