YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)- A Youngstown restaurant hoping to expand took its request before the Design Review Committee on Tuesday.
The answer for Yosteria is yes, but first, they must do a stormwater study. The owners want to add a bocce court, pavilion, and winery building.
Due to the square footage involved, the committee would only approve the initial plan, saying they want to make sure construction won't create issues like erosion or blockages.
"From the start, this has been our goal, wine making, we just had to be patient with it, take some time. We were just able to transfer our license to a manufacturing permit, so this harvest was our first; we were able to start making wine," Alex Zordich.
Yosteria is located on Valley Street, behind YSU in the Smoky Hollow neighborhood.
