“If you could have a superpower, what would it be?”
I’ve been asked this question throughout my life. I found it easier to answer when I was a kid and my imagination was less preoccupied by consequences. I don’t want to fly because the stratosphere would be chilly. I don’t want to be invisible because I’ve spent my entire life trying to be anything but that. I don’t want to tele-transport because it would take the wonder out of travel.
In addition, I have a hard time answering this question because, well, I already do have a superpower. And it feels selfish to wish for more than one.
And what is this superpower? Sorry to disappoint, but I’m under no delusion that I possess a magical power of any kind. My superpower is more in the vein of Batman — a cool gadget.
