Chief Justice of India (CJI) B R Gavai on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the new Bombay High Court complex in suburban Bandra (East) on Wednesday evening.
With current heritage premises in South Mumbai ’s Fort area being insufficient to meet the increasing needs of the HC, the state Public Works Department (PWD) on October 31 issued a tender notice for construction of “New Integrated High Court Complex” at Bandra Government Colony area next to Western Express Highway.
