Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins' husband has shared a sweet message as they prepare to welcome their first child into the world.

The actress, who has played Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap since 2006, revealed in August that she was pregnant, months after her and Adam Whitehead's 'perfect' Manchester wedding.

The couple tied the knot at a fairy-tale wedding at Castlefield Rooms in the city centre in May, in a nod to their first date being "in town" and it being where they like to go out running.

The loved-up celebration was attended by a number of Isabel's Emmerdale co-stars, including Danny Miller, Mark Jordon, Laura Norton, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry, while Eden Taylor-Draper was one of her bridesmaids.
