Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has wished professional dancer Amy Dowden a ‘speedy recovery’ amid her surgery news

Having returned to the BBC series earlier this year, where she competed with Thomas Skinner, Amy revealed on Monday (November 3) that she’s having a second mastectomy performed this week.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, Amy previously underwent a single mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment after discovering a lump while preparing for her honeymoon with her husband Ben Jones.

Taking to Instagram to break the news , Amy said that the surgery was the next step following a recent appointment and wasn’t to treat a new cancer.
