SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — The City of Shinnston welcomed a new restaurant on Wednesday, which you may have recognized from our latest edition of the 12 News Restaurant Road Trip.

Aloi’s Ristorante Rigatoni welcomed the community to its ribbon-cutting outside the building on Wednesday. The restaurant serves up several Italian dishes such as Rigatoni and meatballs, pepperoni rolls and Italian Sandwiches.

John Aloi and his family own and operate the restaurant. On the walls, you can find family photos and Italian decor. Aloi spoke with 12 News on how the restaurant came to be.
