Bosses at a plastic manufacturing plant hit by a fire last night say it “will not stop them in their tracks”.
The blaze erupted at Flambeau Europlast in Manston Road, Ramsgate, at about 8.20pm on Wednesday, forcing staff to evacuate.
Drone footage shows flames ripping through the roof as six fire engines were sent to the scene and crews battled the inferno. The cause is not yet known.
Thankfully, nobody was injured, and the company says most of the damage was contained to a “small corner” of the 140,000 sq ft facility and will not affect business-critical functions.
The factory was fully operational at the time of the incident due to its 24-hour production schedule.
