KINGWOOD, W.Va. (WBOY) — Multiple buildings caught fire at the Appalachian Wood Pellets manufacturer in Kingwood on Wednesday night.
Preston County 911 officials said the fire began around 11:30 p.m. and continued to burn into Thursday morning. Officials told 12 News that multiple buildings on the property caught fire, but they had no information on the extent of the damage. The property is located just outside of Kingwood city limits near the Cheat River off Mill Road.
As of 8:45 a.m. Thursday, the Kingwood Fire Department was still at the scene working to extinguish hotspots in the complex, but most of the fire had been put out.
No injuries were reported.
