A notorious pitch invader has been banned from entering a football stadium for five years after a court found his antics contributed to “disorder and violence” at sporting events.

Daniel 'Jarvo' Jarvis from Gravesend failed to attend the hearing to determine whether or not he should be banned from stadiums after a series of stunts where the prankster invaded pitches and lined up with teams at the start of various international games.

The 37-year-old’s latest antics saw him arrested at the weekend in Merseyside after storming the pitch at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium and posing as an Australian rugby player in the starting line-up, in full kit, as the match was broadcast live on the BBC One.
