BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - Gov. Kelly Armstrong has proclaimed Nov. 6, 2025, as Youthworks Day in North Dakota, recognizing the organization’s four decades of service to homeless, runaway, trafficked and at-risk youth across the state.

The proclamation coincides with National Youth HOPE Month, which raises awareness about youth homelessness, outreach, prevention and education efforts nationwide.

Youthworks, which began operations 40 years ago, now serves communities from offices in Bismarck, Fargo, Minot, Grand Forks and Dickinson. In 2024, the organization provided more than 37,000 hours of direct services to 1,356 young people across North Dakota.
