CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A woman who pleaded guilty to her role in the kidnapping and murder of a Clarksburg man was sentenced Thursday.
Harrison County Circuit Judge D. Andrew McMunn sentenced Jennifer Kirk, 49, who was a homeless Clarksburg resident at the time of the kidnapping and murder of Dallion Lewis, to the maximum allowable penalty for four crimes.
Kirk will serve consecutive indeterminate sentences of 3 to 15 years for attempted kidnapping and 1 to 5 years for conspiracy to commit kidnapping, followed by a 10-year determinate sentence for aiding and abetting use or presentation of a firearm in commission of a felony, and six months of confinement for misdemeanor possession of fentanyl.
McMunn credited Kirk with 622 days served pending prosecution and allowed her misdemeanor charge
