BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Mayor-elect Sean Ryan is wasting no time in getting started for when he takes office on January 1, 2026.

Ryan announced his transition team, which included some familiar faces, including former Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia, Former US Attorney Trini Ross, and former Buffalo Schools Board Member Dr. Barbara Seals Nevergold.

"We are very optimistic that with this process, we're gonna get people from all walks of life... Buffalonians, former Buffalonians, people who want to move to Buffalo... to come and be in part of the change that we're going to execute in city government," said Ryan.

The transition team will work together to select Ryan's cabinet.
