Counselors and mental health support is being offered to the Farmington High School community after the death of a student.

Principal Russ Crist and Interim Superintendent Kathy Greider wrote a letter to families, faculty and staff and said a tenth-grade student passed away unexpectedly.

They called this an “unimaginable loss” and said the student made school “a place of care, inclusivity and joy.”

The school district will have counseling and mental health support available at Farmington High School for all members of the school community.
