HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ)--The parents of Carter Wagner, a teenager killed after being hit by a vehicle while riding his scooter, are calling for more serious charges against the driver.
Carter Wagner was hit and killed in July, and his parents, Allen Wagner and Elizabeth Holland, have been advocating for justice ever since. The driver of the car was not charged with vehicular homicide, but is facing charges, including driving under the influence. Carter's parents feel that the charges are insufficient and are seeking accountability for their son's death.
"We just want some accountability. We don't want a life sentence. We just want accountability," Allen Wagner, Carter's father said.
