Illegal Resident Gave Illegal Massages In Bellmore, Police Say

A Queens woman accused of living in the country illegally was arrested for giving unlicensed massages on Long Island, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.

Ji Chen, 30, of Flushing, was taken into custody during an inspection at King Foot Spa, located at 2785 Jerusalem Avenue in North Bellmore, Nassau County police said. Detectives conducted the inspection around 3:05 p.m. and found Chen performing massages without a valid license, according to the release.

She was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and released on an appearance ticket the same day, police said.

After her arrest, investigators determined Chen was in the United States illegally. She was later taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for removal proceedings, authorities said.
