NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro Council approved an ordinance on its second reading that will turn a property on 3325 McGavock Pike, which is 550 feet southwest of Murfreesboro Pike, into 71 multifamily residential units.
The new housing could provide easier transportation access for residents.
The ordinance would turn a property off of Murfreesboro Pike into 71 multifamily residential units.
Metro Councilmember Russ Bradford sponsored the bill that will go on 3325 McGavock Pike. Bradford has received numerous complaints over the years of homeless camps and issues in the area, and he hopes the new housing units will put those problems to rest.
The property owners of the land own adjacent office space next door. Bradford said they’ve been a part of this community for decades.
