STOW, Ohio (WOIO) - A former Twinsburg police dispatcher facing criminal charges for an alleged spiteful phone call, has a final pre-trial hearing in Stow Municipal Court Friday.

Loretta Nash is charged with telecommunications harassment and prohibited conduct.

Nash is accused of calling Karen Clinton on June 6.

Once the dispatcher was sure that Clinton was listening, she said, “Congratulations, you win the prize. It is called the booby prize. You are the dumbest person to call the police department on a repeated basis.”

Clinton filed a formal complaint against Nash and eventually pressed criminal charges.

“The call was to humiliate me by implying that I would make frivolous calls to 911, and that is absolutely not true,” said Clinton.
